Biography

Mohammad Nazir Ahmad received the bachelor’s degree in information technology in industrial computing from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), in 1998, the master’s degree in information systems from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, in 2002, and the Ph.D. degree in information technology from The University of Queensland (UQ), Brisbane, Australia, in 2009. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Institute of Visual Informatics, UKM. He has been active for many years in the fields of ontology and knowledge management; areas in which he has been supported by numerous research grants. In addition to this, he has authored at least 150 publications comprising 59 indexed journal articles (Scopus/ISI), 27 non-indexed journal articles (Non-Scopus/ISI), 53 refereed conference articles, six chapters in books, three edited books, eight newspapers articles, three magazines articles, and two technical reports.
