Biography
Tadros M. Halim received his B.Sc. in Communications Engineering from Cairo University, Faculty of Engineering in June, 1958. From 1958 to 1960, he was a full time training engineer in the Egyptian Air Force Training Centre. He received his Ph.D. in the research of deflection defocusing in T.V. Cathode –ray tubes from the Electrotechnical Institute of Communications, Moscow, VSSR. 1965. He joined the teaching staff of the Department of Electronics and Electrical Communications, Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Menoufia University, Menouf, Egypt since 1966. He has published several scientific papers in national and international conferences and journals. His current research areas of interest include adaptive signal processing techniques, superresolution reconstruction of images, speech processing, fingerprint processing, and spread spectrum communications.
