Biography

JIN-KYU Han is the Corporate Vice President of Engineering at Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, Seoul, South Korea, and heading Communications Standards Research Team. He received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Yonsei University, Seoul, in 1996, 1998, and 2003, respectively. He joined Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, South Korea, in 2003, and actively contributed to the development of cellular communications and connectivity standards such as cdma2000, LTE, 5G, UWB, Matter, and so on. He also served as a Standardization Management Board Member of IEC from 2018 to 2020.
