Biography

Suresh Chitturi is the Senior Director, and Head of Technology Standards at Samsung Research Bangalore, responsible for emerging technical standards and research. He has over 20 years' experience in the mobile communications industry. He currently serves as the Vice-Chair of Telecommunications Standards Development Society, India. He served as the Chair of 3GPP SA6 (2018–2022) for the application enablement and critical communications standards including MCX, Edge Computing and various technical enablers for industry verticals. Suresh has contributed actively in global SDOs (3GJCP, OMA and GSMA). He holds a Master of Science degree, in Computer Sciences from University of North Texas.
