Biography

Youngkyo Baek ([email protected]) received an M.S. degree, in 2002, and finished doctoral course in mathematics from Korea University, Seoul, Korea. He joined Samsung Electronics in 2007 and has worked on 3G/4G/5G standardization especially in WiMAX and 3GPP. He is currently a staff engineer at Samsung Research, Samsung Electronics, Seoul, Korea, and a Samsung 3GPP standardization delegate in SA2 Working group. His research interests include communications standards, non-public network, broadcast communication, proximity services, and queueing theory.
