Biography
Nils Appenrodt received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering from the Universität Duisburg, Duisburg, Germany, in 1996.
He was Research Assistant in the field of imaging radar systems with the Universität Duisburg, where he worked in close cooperation with Daimler Chrysler Research Institute, Ulm, Germany. Since 2000, he has been with the Group Research, Daimler AG, Ulm, where he is mainly working on environment perception systems. His research interests include radar and laser sensor processing, sensor data fusion, and safety systems.
