Biography

John Boyd received the B.S. degree in computer science and engineering from the University of California at San Diego, San Diego, CA, USA, in 1994. He is currently the Director of Engineering of Qualcomm Technologies Inc., where he is also a Software Engineer and the Manager of the Wireless Research and Development Group. Having the opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of projects throughout the company during his 27 years of service. His current focus is a machine learning framework that facilitates the development of RAN optimizations.
