Biography
Md. Zahurul Islam Sarkar (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET), Bangladesh, in 1996 and 2000, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Queen’s University Belfast, U.K., in 2012. He is a currently a Professor with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, RUET. His current research interests include information-theoretic security aspects of MIMO and cognitive radio channels and security in physical-layer network coding. He is a member of the IEEE Communications Society.
