Biography
Melina Cavichini received M.D. degree from the University Gama Filho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. in 2008. She did her Vitreo Retinal Surgery Fellowship with the Suel Abujamra Institute, São Paulo, Brazil, in 2014, and the Ophthalmology Residency, School of Medicine from ABC region, São Paulo, in 2011. She is currently a Retina Fellow Research with the Jacobs Retina Center, Shilley Eye Institute, University of California, San Diego. Her research interests include retinal diseases, the use of artificial intelligence in retina, and new technologies for retina.
