Biography

Mohammad Safayet Hossain (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Khulna, Bangladesh, in 2012, the M.Sc. degree in electronics, communication, and control systems from Florida Polytechnic University, FL, USA, in 2020, and the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Central Florida, FL, USA, in 2024, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering. He was an Intern with Siemens Technology, in 2021, and the Electric Power Research Institute, from 2023 to 2024. He was an Associate Maintenance Professional with Halliburton, from 2013 to 2016. From 2017 to 2018, he was a Maintenance Engineer with Walton Hi-Tech Industries Ltd. His research interests include game theory, control systems, optimization, energy systems, and power electronics.
