Biography

Ibrahim Abdelsalam received the B.Sc. (First Class) degree in electrical engineering from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport, Alexandria, Egypt, in 2006, the M.Sc. (First Class) degree in electrical engineering from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport, Cairo, Egypt, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in power electronics from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K., in 2016.
He is currently a Lecturer with the Electrical Department, Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport. His current research interests include power electronic converters and their applications in wind energy conversion systems, and advanced control strategies of the multilevel voltage and current source converters.
