Biography

Sherif I. Abdelmaksoud received the bachelor’s degree (Hons.) in aeronuatical engineering from the Institute of Aviation Engineering and Technology (IAET), Egypt, in 2011, the Master of Science degree in aerospace engineering from the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia, in 2015, and the Doctor of Philosophy degree in mechanical engineering from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), in 2022. Currently, he is working with the Aerospace Engineering Department, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia. His research interests include dynamics and control, intelligent control systems, mechatronics, autonomous systems, and swarm robotics. In 2022, he was awarded the Best Postgraduate (Ph.D.) Student Award from the School of Graduate Studies at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia based on excellent academic achievement.
