Biography
Amir Ahmidi (M'09) received the M.Sc. degree from the National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble, Grenoble, France, in 2007. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in wind farm participation in ancillary services with the University of Lille-Nord de France, Ecole Centrale de Lille, Villeneuve d'Ascq Cedex, France. His thesis is carried out in cooperation with the Maia Eolis Company, Lille, France, the Laboratory of Electrical Engineering and Power Electronic of Lille, Lille, and the Grenoble Electrical Engineering Laboratory, Grenoble. His thesis is a part of research and development projects of the Maia Eolis Company which is a wind farm developer in the North of France.
