Biography

Mourad Aït Ahmed received the Engineering degree from the ENITA, Algiers, Algeria, in 1988, the Ph.D. degree in robotics from LAAS-CNRS, Toulouse, France, in 1993, and the HDR degree from Nantes University, Saint-Nazaire, France, in November 2017.
Since 1993, he has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Polytech Nantes, Saint-Nazaire, where he is currently an Associate Professor in automatic control. He exercises his research activities with the Institut de Recherche en Energie Electrique de Nantes Atlantique (IREENA). His main research interests are in the fields of modeling and control of multiphase electrical machines, embedded electrical networks, and microgrids.
