Biography
Mourad Ait-Ahmed was born in Djelfa, Algeria, on June 21, 1965. He received the Engineering degree from École Militaire Polytechnique Ex., Bordj El Bahri, Algeria, in 1988, the Ph.D. degree in robotics from the Laboratory for Analysis and Architecture of Systems, Centre National De La Recherche Scientifique, Toulouse, France, in 1993, and the HDR degree in electrical engineering, in November 2017.
Since 1993, he has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Polytech Nantes, Nantes, France, where he is an Associate Professor in automatic control and exercises his research activities with IREENA. His main research interests are in the fields of modeling and control of multiphase electrical machines, embedded electrical networks, and microgrids.
