Biography
Mahbubul Haq Bhuiyan is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Southeast University. He is also the Assistant Moderator of Southeast Photography & Visual Arts Forum for the term 2025-2026. With a specialization in Educational Development using Question-Based Learning, Mahbub brings a wealth of experience to the classroom. Previously, he served as an Adjunct Faculty, Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Southeast University and Independent University Bangladesh.
Mahbub's passion for educational development is evident in his innovative teaching methods. He focuses on engaging students' minds and fostering a love of learning through Brain Engaging Projects and Question-Based Learning. By encouraging critical thinking and creativity, Mahbub prepares students for success in the dynamic job market.
Currently, Mahbub is conducting research in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, exploring the intersection of technology and education. His research interests also include Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Tertiary Educational Development. He has published several international conference papers on prestigious venues (Core B and C ranked) and journal articles (Q1). Additionally, Mahbub has served as an external reviewer for Tencon 2023, a prestigious IEEE Region 10 conference and recently has been invited as a TPC member and reviewer for IEEE 4th International Conference on Computing and Machine Intelligence which will be held on Central Michigan University, USA. He is an IEEE member for 2 consecutive years.
Other than his academic collaborations, Mahbub is a board member and fellow of Society for Leadership Skills Development (SLSD) where he also serves as a Trainer of soft skills development. Besides, he is a life member of Bangladesh Organization for Learning & Development (BOLD). Mahbub dedicates himself for the betterment of the society as a whole through his academic expertise and social activities through SLSD and BOLD.
