Biography
Manuel M. Crisóstomo was born in Coimbra, Portugal, in 1952. He received the B.Sc. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Coimbra, Coimbra, in 1978, the M.Sc. degree from the Technical University of Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal, in 1987, and the Ph.D. degree from Brunel University, Uxbridge, U.K., in 1992.
He is currently a Lecturer with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Coimbra, where he is also a Researcher with the Institute of Systems and Robotics. His main research interests include robotics, sensors and actuators for robots, and classical and fuzzy control systems.
