Biography
P. Alcaria received the M.Sc. degree in electrical and computer
engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade Técnica de Lisboa, Lisbon, Portugal, in 2012.
As an M.Sc. student, he developed the simulation model of the matrix converter-based active distribution transformer, including filter sizing and controllers design for power-quality applications. Currently, he is a Network Planning Engineer at REN-Redes Energéticas Nacionais.
