Biography

Anibal S. Morales (M’13) was born in Concepcion, Chile, in 1983. He received the B.S. degree, the degree (Hons.) in electronics engineering, and the Sc.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Concepcion, Concepcion, in 2004, 2007, and 2012, respectively.
Since 2015, he has been an Assistant Professor of electrical engineering with the Faculty of Engineering, Universidad Catolica de la Santisima Concepcion, Concepcion. His current research interests include power converters, high-current rectifiers, multi-physics Finite Element Method modeling, energy efficiency, electrical safety, and technology for mining applications, copper electrowinning, and electrorefining.
