Biography
Megumi Akoshima was born in 1973. She received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan, in 1995, 1997, and 2000, respectively.
She has been involved in research on thermal diffusivity of solids with the National Metrology Institute of Japan, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Tsukuba, Japan, since 2001.
Dr. Akoshima was a Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science from 1997 to 1999 and in 2000.
She has been involved in research on thermal diffusivity of solids with the National Metrology Institute of Japan, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Tsukuba, Japan, since 2001.
Dr. Akoshima was a Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science from 1997 to 1999 and in 2000.
