Biography

Zeyar Aung (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the National University of Singapore, in 2006. From 2006 to 2010, he was a Research Fellow with the Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR), Singapore. In 2010, he joined the Masdar Institute, which later became part of Khalifa University, United Arab Emirates, as an Assistant Professor. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Computer Science, Khalifa University. He is also a member of the Center for Secure Cyber-Physical Systems (C2PS). His current research interests include data analytics, machine learning, and their applications in various domains, such as cyber security, social media, financial systems, renewable energy, and environmental science.
